COMING SOON
Possibility or Disaster... / Jim Whitty

Gallery Exhibition: 31 Oct - 29 Nov 2014

For this show, Jim is looking to explore the point at which a painting is finished. Working on two large canvases over an extended period of time he is pushing himself to keep painting beyond the point when he would normally down brushes and call the painting complete. EXTENDED EXHIBITION
Divas gallery / Ray Hill - Inner Landscape Series

Until Fri 24 October 2014

Ray's current body of work is inspired by the natural world. The colours and textures found in the land, sea and sky are worked and manipulated to create an effect that is almost dreamlike, often using heightened colours. Using the imagination and external reality to create a landscape that is familiar and yet not of any particular place. The images are vibrant and explore the relationship between a real and heightened landscape using colour and texture as a narrative tool.
