NEWS - FeverLeaf is good enough for VOGUE!
In their August edition of ‘Street Chic’, British Vogue featured a hand-made waistcoat by Black Swan Arts’ very own designer-maker Freya Morgan. The glossy magazine photographed a reveller at Wilderness Festival UK, wearing one of FeverLeaf's hooded pixie waistcoats, made from reclaimed fabrics.

FeverLeaf’s creative home is Studio Shop Three at Black Swan Arts, where Freya is part of a vibrant community of artisan makers, that’s always a hive of activity. Freya creates colourful one-of-a-kind clothing including reversible skirts and unusual carnivalesque items such as waistcoats with hoods and tails. Her background in sculpture and installation art has given her a passion for creating one-off wearable creations that are a little out of the ordinary, which is exactly what got her noticed by Vogue.

Pop-Up Studio / Paula & Elisa Amor
Textiles, Sculpture, Painting Exhibition

Tue 26 August - Sat 6 September 2014

Paula and Elisa Amor (mother & daughter) will be in the Pop Up Studio Shop for their second time, showcasing textiles, sculpture with a recycling twist and oil paintings (landscapes and lots more).

We are very pleased to say that Paula and Elisa will also be offering workshops in both painting and wire/fabric sculpture during their time in the Pop Up Studio. Paula's one-to-one tuition in oil painting is aimed at young teens to adults and costs just £10 for about an hour. And Elisa is inviting children between 5 and 11 to make a wire sculpture of their initial, to cover and decorate with fabrics of their choice, and costs only £5 for about an hour. And even better, you don't have to book in advance - just drop in an ask.
